1. Personal Pet Project

DebtApp is a personal hobby project created and maintained by Maksym Shymchenko for personal use. It is not a commercial product, a licensed financial service, or a regulated application. No business entity operates this software.

This app is provided "as-is" without any guarantees of availability, accuracy, or continuity. The service may be modified, interrupted, or shut down at any time without notice.

2. No Warranty

This application is provided WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Financial data, calculations, forecasts, and any other output shown in this app are for informational and illustrative purposes only. They do not constitute financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

3. Limitation of Liability

The developer (Maksym Shymchenko) accepts no liability whatsoever for:

• Loss or corruption of data you enter into this application
• Inaccurate calculations, forecasts, or recommendations
• Any financial decisions made based on this app's output
• Unauthorized access to your account or data
• Service interruptions, bugs, or downtime

You use this application entirely at your own risk.

4. Your Data & Responsibility

All financial data (debts, budgets, transactions, etc.) that you enter is stored on the server running this application. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you input.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. After deletion, data is permanently removed.

5. No Invitation / Open Access

This application is primarily intended for the developer's personal use. If you are using it, you do so voluntarily and acknowledge that you have read and understood this disclaimer. No formal user agreement, SLA, or support commitment exists.

6. localStorage & Authentication

Authentication uses a JWT token stored in browser localStorage — not cookies. One technical cookie (.AspNetCore.Session) is set by the framework but contains no personal data. No tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies are used. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
